The Gollie

Part Goat. Part Collie. All-Purpose Pet. Our client had a family and lived in Alaska, so he needed a kid-friendly animal that could traverse well on mountainous terrain. Our Veterinarigeneticists™ felt that the temperament of a Collie was a good fit for the family and the climbing skills of the Goat would meet their vertical hiking challenges.

The Gollie has been a very popular Geneti-Pet in Rocky Mountain states and Blue Ridge communities as well. Not only are they loyal and possess sweet dispositions, they’re eco-friendly as well. Proof? Not only do they eat dog food, but they also ingest the can it comes in! Gollie!

About Geneti-Pets

Geneti-Pets Laboratory is dedicated to creating fun and interesting customized pets for people who have a penchant for the out-of-the ordinary. Our Veterinarigeneticists™ are highly skilled and exceptionally imaginative. If you can dream it, odds are they can create the combo-pet of your choice.

We keep the location of our laboratory classified. Not unlike Copernicus and Galileo, we fear reprisal and potential persecution from segments of the extremist anti-science crowd. It’s true that our pursuits are risky and somewhat controversial, but the smile on a child’s face when they first see their Geneti-Pet makes it all worthwhile.

We decided to create this blog in hopes of getting the conversation started in the online world. We’d like to hear your thoughts, whether pro, con or just a curious observer. Feel free to suggest new pet combinations as well. We’ll gradually roll out successful species we’ve created, and even a few that are still in the developmental stages.
